CapMan will not be collecting rent from its restaurant and café tenants for two months due to the coronavirus epidemic. The decision is based on the legislative decree to close cafes and restaurants until the end of May to prevent the spread of the virus.

CapMan Real Estate will not be collecting rent from the months during which the entrepreneurs will not have the possibility to continue their operations normally due to the legislation. The rent reprieve applies to the restaurants and other foodservice businesses that are tenants in the CapMan’s fully owned, Finnish business premises.

”We want to ensure the long term operations of our tenants and thus, we are now offering rent reprieve for the tenants that cannot continue their operations due to the legislation. We hope that this is a step towards enabling the continuity of the businesses”, tells Mika Matikainen, Managing Partner of CapMan Real Estate.
