CapMan sells its shares in Affecto Plc

Fenno Rahasto fund co-managed by CapMan and Fenno Management Oy has sold all of its 1,913,044 shares in portfolio company Affecto Plc. The sold shares account for approx. 8.9 per cent of the company’s total share capital. The exit has an impact of approx. EUR 0.8 million on CapMan Plc’s result for 2007.
 
Fenno Rahasto fund exited from Affecto Plc mostly in 2005, when it sold the majority of its shares in connection with the company’s IPO. Fenno Fund invested in Affecto Ltd in 1999. Affecto Ltd, provider of business intelligence solutions and Genimap Corporation, specialist in digital location-based information systems were merged in 2004. AffectoGenimap went public in 2005 and the company changed its name to Affecto Plc in 2007.
 
The investment in Affecto has been excellent for investors in the funds managed by CapMan.
