Mr Jorma Lehtonen has been appointed as Senior Partner, Ms Pirjo Ojanperä as Head of Real Estate Hotel Fund, Mr Jan Mattlin as Partner and Mr Sebastian Schauman as Investment Manager at CapMan.
Mr Jorma Lehtonen, M.Sc. (Eng.), (b. 1958), joined CapMan in 2007 as CapMan Real Estate’s Fund Director. He is responsible for the investment activities of CapMan’s real estate funds, and he has made with his team seven new investments in the past year and contributed significantly to the establishment of CapMan Hotels RE fund. Mr Lehtonen acts also as a deputy to Markku Hietela, the Head of CapMan Real Estate and Managing Director of Realprojekti Oy. Prior to CapMan Mr Lehtonen was the Managing Director of real estate investment company Nordisk Renting Oy and before that Real Estate Director at Sampo Group. Altogether he has over 25 years of experience in construction and real estate investing.
Ms Pirjo Ojanperä, M.Sc. (Agriculture and Forestry), (b.1958), has been nominated as Head of Real Estate Hotel Fund. She joined CapMan in September 2008. Previously she has worked as Regional Director of Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts, Finland. The current head of Hotel Fund team, Tomi Bergman, will continue as CapMan’s Senior Advisor.
Mr Jan Mattlin, M.Sc. (Eng.), (b. 1976), joined CapMan’s buyout team as Investment Analyst in 2000, and has been promoted Investment Manager in 2003 and Investment Director in 2006. Mattlin specialises in industrial management and retail, and he has been involved in several buyout deals, for example in Komas, Maintpartner, Tokmanni, Moventas and Eltel Networks. Prior to joining CapMan Mattlin worked at Citibank International.
Mr Sebastian Schauman, M. Sc. (Econ.), (b. 1979), joined CapMan’s buyout team as Investment Analyst in 2006. He has been involved in several buyout deals, for example in Komas, Maintpartner, Walki and The New Black (previous Varesvuo Partners).
