CapMan
acquires city-centre property in
Helsinki



The CapMan Hotels RE Ky Fund has signed an
agreement to acquire the Vanhajämerä real estate company with a property
located in central Helsinki from Sponda Plc.

 

The Vanhajämerä property, with 5,185 m² of lettable space is located on the corner
of Albertinkatu and Lönnrotinkatu in central Helsinki and the plan is to develop it into a
hotel. The transaction is expected to be finalized by the end of January 2010.

 

CapMan manages three
real estate funds, of which CapMan Real Estate I invests in commercial
properties in Greater Helsinki, CapMan RE II in commercial properties and
property development opportunities across Finland, and CapMan Hotels RE in
hotel properties in the Nordic countries.
