CapMan funds receive repayment of a vendor loan as part of the 2010 exit from Inflight Service – result impact for CapMan Plc is €1.2 million

Inflight Service, a former CapMan Buyout portfolio company, repays its outstanding vendor loan to funds managed by CapMan. As some of the funds have since transferred to carry, the impact of the transaction on CapMan Plc’s result for 2015 is €1.2 million from carried interest income (net). The cash flow to CapMan Plc from the repayment is €1.9 million.

Funds managed by CapMan exited Inflight Service Intressenter AB, a leading airline retailer, in 2010. As part of the exit, a vendor loan was granted to the buyer. The repayment of the loan was completed yesterday on 29 September 2015.

Holders of the vendor loan were CapMan Equity VII and Finnmezzanine III generation funds, which are in carry, as well as the CapMan Mezzanine IV fund.
