CapMan Nordic Real Estate acquires a residential property in a high-end area north of Copenhagen
CapMan Nordic Real Estate fund is adding to its existing residential portfolio in Copenhagen with the acquisition of a 7,370 square metre residential and retail property located on Strandvejen 201 in Hellerup, north of Copenhagen.
The turn-of-the-century property is located on the corner of Ahlmans Alle and Strandvejen in Hellerup in close proximity to parks, a short walk to the sea and a 10-minute drive to the centre of Copenhagen. The property is in overall good condition and currently has 33 residential tenants and nine retail tenants.
“We are excited about this addition to our already strong residential portfolio in Copenhagen. We see further potential in the Danish residential market especially in centrally-located properties in upscale areas. Strandvejen is a prime retail street in Hellerup with exclusive residents, apartments and shops located only five kilometres from the city centre,” comments Torsten Bjerregaard, Senior Partner at CapMan Real Estate.
The transaction is done in partnership with Keystone Asset Management and with bank financing from SEB.
CapMan Nordic Real Estate fund has in the past few years been building a residential portfolio comprising properties in central Copenhagen and Frederiksberg. The focus of the 273 million fund is to acquire mainly office, retail and residential properties located in established submarkets of major Nordic cities. The fund was established in 2013.
