CapMan Buyout promotes key investment professionals to Partners
CapMan Buyout is proud to announce the designation of experienced investment professionals Antti Karppinen and Tobias Karte to Partners and Tomi Alén to Investment Director. In addition to seven partners, the team comprises five investment professionals.

Antti Karppinen (M.Sc. (Eng.), B.Sc. (Econ.)) joined CapMan Buyout in 2009 and has been actively involved in several CapMan Buyout investments, including most recently Oral Hammaslääkärit and Lämpölux, which were sold to trade buyers, as well as current portfolio companies DEN Group, Acona and KotiSun. Prior to joining CapMan Buyout, he worked as a corporate finance analyst at the Royal Bank of Scotland (previously ABN Amro Bank) in Helsinki. Antti has recently returned from a secondment in Stockholm and works at CapMan’s Helsinki office.
Tobias Karte (M.Sc. (Econ.)) joined CapMan Buyout in 2012. He has close to 14 years of experience from the Nordic finance industry, of which 11 years in Nordic mid cap private equity. At CapMan, he is case responsible partner for Malte Månson and was responsible for the recent exits from The North Alliance and MPT. Prior to joining CapMan Buyout, Tobias worked for five years as an investment manager at Swedish private equity firm Segulah and for three years as an analyst at Nordic investment bank Carnegie. Tobias works at CapMan’s Stockholm office.
Tomi Alén (M.Sc. (Eng.)) joined CapMan Buyout in 2014. In addition to his five years of experience in private equity, he has two years of business development experience as a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, and transaction experience from Summa Capital investment bank. At CapMan Buyout, he has been part of the case team and actively involved in the investments made in current portfolio companies Forenom, Kämp Collection Hotels, Havator and Bright Group, as well as former portfolio company Oral Hammaslääkärit. Tomi works at CapMan’s Helsinki office.
