CapMan Infra Managing Partner Ville Poukka appointed to CapMan Plc’s Management Group
CapMan Infra Managing Partner Ville Poukka (M.Sc. (Econ.)) has been appointed to CapMan Plc’s Management Group as of 1 November 2018. CapMan has further announced the establishment of a new infrastructure fund, which predominantly invests in Nordic small to mid-cap infrastructure assets.
CapMan Infra invests mainly in energy, transportation and telecommunications infrastructure in the Nordic countries. In May, the Infra team lead a Finnish investor consortium to invest EUR 70 million in Elenia, a Finnish electricity network and district heat company. CapMan Infra was established in the spring 2017, when Ville joined CapMan from Danske Bank, where he was responsible for energy and infrastructure sector M&A advisory in the Nordic countries. He has advised on various infrastructure transactions especially in the energy sector across the Nordic market.
“Infrastructure investment has become an important part of CapMan’s business over the past year, and Ville brings valuable expertise to CapMan’s Management Group especially from this area,” says Joakim Frimodig, CapMan’s CEO.
“As part of CapMan’s Management Group, I am pleased to continue growing and developing CapMan’s infrastructure business. Over the past year, we have built a strong local investment team and established our presence as an active investment manager in the Nordic infrastructure market. The new fund enables us to execute on our strong deal pipeline and builds a foundation for many years to come,” comments Ville Poukka, Managing Partner of CapMan Infra.
