CapMan strengthens its commitment to sustainable investments by appointing ESG Director
CapMan takes the next step in the execution of its sustainability strategy by appointing Anna Olsson as ESG Director. The role is new at CapMan.
Ms. Olsson joins CapMan from ISS ESG, a sustainability consultancy, where she has worked since 2015, most recently responsible for the ESG Specialist team in the Netherlands, Nordics, UK & Ireland. Prior to that, she has held sustainability analyst and project management positions for sustainability consultancies and NGOs. She is based in CapMan’s Stockholm office and will report to COO Heidi Sulin.
Together with CapMan’s investment professionals and other sustainability expertise within the Group, Ms. Olsson will focus on further developing the Group’s approach to sustainability and implementing the sustainable investment framework.

Increased focus on sustainability
CapMan has actively developed its sustainable investment framework since the Group became a signatory of the PRI in 2012. All CapMan’s funds under management now incorporate sustainability criteria throughout the investment process from sourcing and screening of investments to due diligence, active ownership and a managed exit process. All private equity and infrastructure funds established after 2013 report specific ESG-metrics and sustainability impacts to fund investors as well as to the general public. The appointment of Ms. Olsson adds increased focus and resources to further develop CapMan’s sustainable investment practices.
