Helsingin Bussiliikenne Oy won the trunk bus line 560 running from Helsinki’s Rastila to Myyrmäki neighbourhood, in a tender organised by the Helsinki Regional Transport Authority (HSL). Helsingin Bussiliikenne Oy is a subsidiary of CapMan Infra’s portfolio company Koiviston Auto Oy. The fleet of trunk line 560 will be electrified with 16 articulated electric buses.
Helsingin Bussiliikenne Oy has won the trunk bus line 560 going from Rastila to Myyrmäki in Helsinki, in a tender organised by HSL. Traffic based on the new contracts will start on bus line 560 in August 2024.
The bus line’s equipment will be renewed at the beginning of the contract period. The fleet of trunk line 560 will be electrified with 16 articulated electric buses by Helsingin Bussiliikenne Oy. Helsingin Bussiliikenne Oy will also invest in the charging infrastructure supporting the bus line.
More than 2 million kilometres are driven annually on the tendered lines. HSL’s board compared the offers based on their overall economic benefit.
