Skarta Energy, a Finnish renewable energy project developer, strengthens its board of directors with the appointment of Jan Montell as the Chairperson of the Board.
Jan Montell (1968, MSE) is an experienced leader and board professional. He previously worked as the CFO of Fingrid, Finland’s transmission system operator. Montell has a strong background in the energy sector, and a track record from successful business development and strategy implementation. Montell has previously been a Partner at KPMG and has experience from serving on the board of directors of several domestic and foreign companies, such as Pohjola Rakennus Suomi and Nord Pool.
“I am excited to start as the Chairperson of Skarta Energy where I will be able to utilise my expertise in finance, business and strategy implementation in the energy sector to support the company on its growth journey,” says Jan Montell.
