CapMan Real Estate supports Ukrainians in need by donating surplus hotel inventory to Help Ukraine Gothenburg
CapMan Real Estate has agreed to donate surplus hotel inventory from Solna Kasernen 1 to Ukrainians in need through the non-profit integration and peace association Help Ukraine Gothenburg (HUG). The hotel and office property Solna Kasernen 1 was acquired by the CapMan Nordic Real Estate III Fund in November 2022 and is currently being emptied ahead of a refurbishment. The property holds a large inventory of beds, blankets, pillows etc. from 200 hotel rooms which are not needed by the hotel after the refurbishment, and which the fund is happy to donate to those in need.
The first pick-up of inventory took place last weekend, when HUG collected over 400 beds from the property premises. HUG is now transporting the beds to Ukraine with help from its partner donor, Volvo Defence. The beds will be used in Kherson and Boryspil.
