Valokuitunen is the market leading fiber-to-home in Finland. The company’s network coverage has grown from approximately 20,000 to more than 400,000 households, with the main growth seen in suburbs in the vicinity of larger cities such as Helsinki, Turku and Tampere. Valokuitunen was established in 2020 when CapMan Infra and Telia Company established the joint venture from the then existing Telia Finland’s Avoin Kuitu business.

Harri Halonen
Harri Halonen has 14 years of experience in infrastructure investment and asset management within international roles. He has been with CapMan since 2017 when he joined to help establish CapMan Infra, based out of Stockholm. He is a member of CapMan Infra’s investment committee.
Before joining CapMan Harri was a Director at Brunswick Real Estate in Stockholm where he assessed real estate and infrastructure opportunities for the group. Prior to this he helped to establish the Infrastructure Investments platform at Swiss Life Asset Managers. While there, the team invested c EUR 1 billion and Harri was involved in several direct investments across OECD countries. Before this Harri worked at Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets in London, managing telecommunication assets and participating in various transactions across a wider range of asset classes in Europe.
Harri studied business management at King’s College, University of London where he graduated with 1st class honours and was a recipient of an award of excellence for his grades and contribution to the college.
