CapMan Plc’s earnings per share (EPS) for the year 2007 is expected to be approximately EUR 0.23. EPS for the year 2006 was EUR 0.15 and consequently the Group’s profit before taxes for 2007 will clearly exceed that of 2006 as guided earlier.
CapMan Plc’s EPS for the period of January – September 2007 was EUR 0.25. According to the preliminary figures CapMan Plc’s profit for the last quarter of 2007 will be negative as a result of fair value changes of fund investments. The changes relate to certain individual investments and to funds’ costs. As a whole the fair value of fund investments has developed favourably in 2007 and the return on fund investments will exceed their targeted annual return level of 15 per cent.
The preliminary figures announced are un-audited. CapMan Plc will publish its financial statements bulletin for the year 2007 on Wednesday 31 January 2008.
