The CapMan Growth Equity III fund has reached its hard cap size of 130 million agreed with investors, well exceeding the size of the team’s previous fund. The fund continues the strategy of its predecessor, investing in the best Finnish entrepreneur-driven growth companies. During its operation, since 2017, CapMan Growth’s team has raised over 300 million from investors for growth investments.

CapMan Growth’s investor base consists mainly of reputable Finnish institutional investors and successful Finnish entrepreneurs including several founders of CapMan Growth’s portfolio companies.

The new fund made its first investment at the beginning of April when it invested in the environmental technology company Tana.

“Tana is a good example of the fund’s investment in an international growth company utilising its own technology, to which we bring new expertise and resources for growth together with our advisors. Since its inception, CapMan Growth has invested mainly in technology-enabled service companies, technology and software companies and healthcare”, says Antti Kummu, Managing Partner at CapMan Growth.

CapMan Growth is the leading Finnish growth investor making significant minority investments in entrepreneur-led growth companies with revenues ranging between €10–200 million. We offer entrepreneurs an alternative to selling the majority of their business by facilitating a partial exit while also supporting growth and internationalisation. We have been part of building companies such as Coronaria, Cloud2, Digital Workforce, Fennoa, Fluido, Neural DSP, Picosun, Sofigate, Silmäasema and Unikie.
