Our science-based commitments
Our decisions are informed by the latest and most credible scientific research. We have validated mid-term science-based targets to reduce our direct greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 51% by 2032 and are committed to reaching net-zero emissions by 2040. We actively assist our portfolio companies and assets in measuring, setting, and validating their own individual emission reduction targets in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) guidelines, while annually tracking and disclosing our progress.

Climate actions
We work to understand and mitigate the physical and transitional risks of climate change. For our real estate and infrastructure assets, we conduct detailed physical climate risk assessments for events like floods and heat waves and develop robust adaptation plans. We also believe in contributing to global best practices. In 2024, we participated in piloting new SBTi standards for the building sector and for financial institutions, helping to shape a structured, science-based approach to a low-carbon economy.
